Rajasthan - the Land of Kings

Rajasthan, also called as the “land of kings” is one of the India's largest state by area. The state covers 342,239 km sq. The state is located on the northern side of the country comprising Thar Desert also known as “Great Indian Desert”. The place is rich in culture and heritage, it includes ruins of Indus Valley Civilization at Kalibanga, Dilwara Temples, Mount Abu in the ancient Aravalli mountain range. Not only that the state is also rich wildlife. Keoladeo National Park located near Bharatpur, one of the World Heritage Site mainly known for bird life. Ranthambore National Park in Sawai Madhopur and Sariska Tiger Reserve in Alwar are two national tiger reserves.
